Description: A NYC rental board that ranks places by rent per person and pings Discord on new ones

Info: Built at a hackathon I hosted, for a real problem: finding a Manhattan place for three by October. Listing sites sort by bedroom count, which hides the big 1-beds and 2-beds that would work. This board pulls every listing into one place and judges it by square footage and rent per person.

What I focused on:

• Pulls from 17 building operators' own listing feeds plus StreetEasy, every 30 minutes on GitHub Actions, and posts new units to Discord.
• Rates each unit by whether its square footage fits the people, not its bedroom label, and hides listings over 50 days old, which are usually bait.
• Map with clustered pins, filters for commute, rent and move-in date. 367 listings tracked.
